Warm air at the vents, ice on the lines, or a breaker that keeps tripping isn't a wait-it-out problem when Mooresville, NC temperatures climb. We check charge, compressor amp draw, and coil condition before recommending a fix before any part gets quoted.
Topping off refrigerant without ever finding the leak is one of the most common ways Mooresville homeowners get overcharged. We pull static and running pressures, check superheat and subcooling against factory spec, and use electronic detection to find the actual leak, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.
Non-negotiables on every cooling call.
Refrigerant work is always performed by certified technicians — a legal requirement we take seriously.
We bump no-cool calls ahead of routine work, even during the busiest stretch of summer.
Whatever the repair, the quote holds before work starts.
Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
The repairs behind most no-cool calls.
We locate, repair, and recharge to spec — not just refilled and sent on its way.
Hard-starting or high-amp compressors get tested before we recommend replacement.
Ice on the evaporator coil points to restricted airflow or low charge, and we trace the root cause instead of just thawing it, not just defrost it and hope.
A failing capacitor is a common cause of a dead condenser, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
A coil caked in debris can't reject heat properly, which spikes head pressure and stresses the compressor, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
A blown fuse or tripped disconnect can present exactly like a dead compressor, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.

What people ask before we dispatch.
Usually a refrigerant leak, compressor failure, or a dirty condenser coil — we check all three and we test each before quoting.
Sure, but it won't stick — refrigerant is a closed system, so if the level dropped, it went somewhere specific, and we'll say so before you pay for one.
Cooling emergencies jump the queue, usually resolved within a few hours of your call.
It won't hurt anyone, but continued operation risks the compressor, so it's worth addressing quickly.
Our focus is central and packaged systems, though we can point you toward window unit resources, and can advise on window units.
You're paying for a proper pressure and electrical workup, not a guess — and that fee comes off the total if you move forward with the repair once you approve the fix.
We dispatch cooling techs throughout Mooresville and the surrounding Mooresville, NC zips below — call to confirm same-day.
